After almost a 3-year hiatus, I am honored to invite you to Augma’s 2nd International Symposium at the great Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center in Kissimmee, Florida.
For this symposium the theme is “A New Generation for Bone Regeneration”, and we have gathered the top bone cement experts in the world for a 3-day event packed with lectures and hands-on workshops. The symposium will place focus on bone cement surgical procedures, including the most recent advancements in the area of peri-implantitis and vertical augmentation.
COVID-19 emphasized the pivotal role of Augma Bone Cement Academy. We’ve created online content that can be consumed immediately by clinicians, in multiple shapes and forms. Nowadays clinicians can perform augmentation with Augma by selecting the proper learning tool for them: the online Introductory Course, Webinars, Expert Panels, Live Surgeries, Clinical Cases and E-book. The concept of bone cements is a true paradigm shift that provides us with entirely new possibilities. With bone cements, traditional GBR rules are no longer relevant. Now we have minimally invasive surgeries without tension free flaps or membranes. Primary closure is no longer mandatory, and graft exposure is not an issue due to the bacteriostatic nature of the graft cement. This turns the procedure into a much simpler, faster procedure with negligible complications.
